Four participants from the Hong Kong Region competed in the “21st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition through video conferencing. Due to COVID-19, the Grand Final in Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center was postponed to 5-7 Oct 2020.

Sham Pui Yan from Shatin College was crowned Champion for the Junior High Category, the topic for the Finals was "Kindness is beautiful".

Sham had fun throughout the competition and said, "I was very excited. It was a great experience, and I loved it a lot."

Zhou Hanyi from Chinese International School was awarded the First Prize for the Primary School (Grades 4-6) Category, her topic was "Colors of the world".

As for the rest, Ng Nok Hin from Fukien Secondary School Affiliated School and Chan Ka Lo Carol from St. Paul's Convent School received Second Prize for the Primary School (Grades 1-3) and Senior High Category respectively.
